Multi-agent based scheduling method for tandem automated guided vehicle systems

We consider the scheduling method that allows to minimize traveling time of a AGV (and thus energy consumption) at each zones, while waiting automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and/or containers for pickup and delivery (PD) transfer points (TPs) installed between adjacent zones in tandem systems. Scheduling these systems is often not possible from single point by intelligent agent. Intead, has be performed using multiple agents. cooperative multi-agent (CMAS) scheme which agent employs multi-offspring genetic algorithm. Coordination agents used improve their schedulings. This coordination can form serial scheme. propose novel CMAS based on Lagrange theory compare this non-cooperative approach The proposed verified system book printing process Pyongyang Textbook Print Shop as real-world experiment it shown effective.
